One tells us of snow falling in the Sahel Desert. The other talks about his Christmas baobab tree in the middle of the Canadian winter. In this performance, storytellers Stéphane Guertin (Canada) and Kientega Pigdewendé Gérard, also known as KPG (Burkina Faso), attempt to uncover the true nature of Christmas by building cultural and musical bridges between North America and Africa. Through their words, their stories and their traditional songs, the audience will discover two distinct worlds united under one single North Star.
The show was created in France in November 2015 and toured in Toronto and Ottawa schools in December 2015.
Written, directed and performed by Stéphane Guertin and Kientega Pingdéwindé Gérard, a.k.a KPG
